New and Familiar Faces Join Faculty and Staff
Ten teachers and staff members are new to McDonogh this fall:
- Rose Heggs takes the new position of learning specialist in the lower school.
- Malika DeLancey joins the third grade teaching team.
- Julie Foley is the interim dance teacher.
- David Fulton-Howard '04 is a technology service specialist.
- Rose Heggs takes the new position of learning specialist in the lower school.
- Travis Holmes '03 joins the physical education and coaching staff.
- Katie Michaelson is the administrative assistant to Tim Fish and Kirsten Adams.
- Meredith Monk joins the seventh grade team as a social studies teacher.
- Hakeem Sulé '05 is the first MacMullan-Oliver Teaching Intern and will teach pre-algebra in middle school and coach.
- Tristram Thomas '05 joins the middle school foreign language team.
- Joshua Waller '02 joins the middle school English faculty as a part-time teacher.
Plus, three veterans have rejoined the faculty. Vicki McMillan missed the classroom too much in retirement, so she has returned to the third grade team. Another veteran, Catriona Schmidt, is back with the lower school faculty as a prefirst teacher. And Edith Gans has returned, as a kindergarten associate teacher.
