Grand Effort Helps Local Food Pantries
For the second year in a row, the Lower School sponsored a school-wide canned food drive to benefit St. Charles' Food Pantry in Pikesville and St. Gregory's Food Pantry in West Baltimore. Lower schoolers also decorated gift bags for the donations. On Tuesday, November 17, students in all three divisions loaded the boxes of canned goods into school vans, and Director of Religious Studies, Character, and Service John Grega, Middle School teacher Halyna Fried, and Lower School teacher Margaret Bitz and her third graders delivered them to the pantries.
